The 2020 UBA FUJEN BASKETBALL TEAM - KEY VISUAL

The University Basketball Association (UBA) hosts an annual official basketball tournament for universities across Taiwan. For the 2020 season, I was entrusted with creating the key visual for Fujen University’s basketball team, capturing the energy and spirit of each player in a dynamic comic style.

In this project, I illustrated all sixteen team members within a tight one-week timeline. The limited timeframe added a challenge that led to a bold, expressive style, where some strokes were intentionally rough and spontaneous, enhancing the comic-inspired aesthetic. The final visuals effectively conveyed the team’s intensity and gave the traditional sports poster a fresh, lively edge.
