This illustration celebrates Tai Tzu-Ying, the world’s No. 1 female badminton player since 2016. Known for her agility and graceful style, Tai's performance at the 2021 BWF World Tour Finals inspired me to capture her dynamic presence on the court.

The artwork highlights the exhilarating moment when Tai roars in triumph, clenching her fist in victory. I used dry brush strokes around the edges to convey her speed and power, while her full-body depiction at the forefront emphasizes her fluid, almost weightless movement. The typography above and below frames her like a badminton shape, adding a unique visual touch to honor her exceptional skill.
